Al Loya, AIA, CNU-A
Managing Partner
Al is the Managing Partner and provides guidance and leadership through his hands-on approach. His portfolio of work spans across all scales and includes healthcare, science and technology, academic and recreational. His commissions are characterized by sensitivity to materials, attentiveness to the relationship between buildings and surrounding environment, and making places that respond to their unique culture and context. Al is a Registered Architect in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Design Specialization from Texas Tech University.
Gilda Maraboto, RAS, CBI-ICC
Code & ADA Compliance
Gilda has served as a Senior Project Manager on numerous projects. She has a specialty design background with years of experience in the architecture profession and in navigating through the bureaucracy of the municipalities in the various States that we practice. Gilda became a Registered Accessibility Specialist in the State of Texas, and provides in-house quality assurance on all the firm’s projects. Gilda is also a Commercial Building Inspector with the International Code Council (ICC 2019) Gilda’s attention to detail and thoroughness provides our clients with a higher service that ensures quality and reliability in our construction documents
Danny Goss, Assoc. AIA
Quality Control / Assurance
Danny is well versed in every design discipline, which gives him the ability to lead the team of consultants through the design and construction process to ensure success.A seasoned leader in healthcare design with experience in a variety of healthcare related projects.Danny also serves as the firm’s go-to person for mentoring and guidance to the junior staff. His open communication allows for perfect execution in each project, and provides the expertise needed on complex and technically intricate designs. Danny has completed the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners Intern Development Program.
Stephanie Nevarez
Project Manager
Stephanie earned her Master’s of Science in Construction Management at The University of Texas at El Paso. Stephanie brings excellent ability to manage projects. Highly motivated, driving success and growth, she is an excellent researcher always looking to sharpen the problem - solving skills. Her great attention to detail and accelerated work flow ensures accurate work that meets high standards and keeps projects on or ahead of schedule. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Texas Tech University.
Alex Flores, Intl. Assoc. AIA
Senior Associate
Alex is our team leader in BIM and production. His extensive knowledge of modeling, building systems and documents executed in Revit has enabled him to manage a variety of projects, creating construction documents and visualization, and assisting in coordination of various design efforts for the project team. As a project manager he ensures projects are comprehensively documented for construction. He is also responsible for directing the architectural and / or engineering team to execute the work in an orderly, timely and coordinated manner. He is involved in various project types such as commercial, residential, and industrial.
Cynthia Espinoza
Associate
Cynthia Is a highly motivated, organized, resourceful, detail oriented and committed with a strong academic background and diverse experience. Cynthia has an outstanding problem-solving skill with the ability to meet rigorous performance standards and demanding schedules. Strong knowledge of BIM modeling and other architecture design software. Cynthia received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Texas Tech University of El Paso, Tx.
Christian Ortiz
Associate
Christian was born and raised in El Paso and comes from a family of carpenters and construction contractors which got him to learn the Architectural design software and to gain experience at an early age, thus his abilities to learn quickly became important qualities, Christian has earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Focused on sustainability and urban planning. Christian is currently working on gaining experience at LoyaWilke and plans to become a licensed architect with the firm in the near future.
Carmen Renteria
Office Manager
Carmen has more than 5 years of experience in the accounting field working in a variety of different businesses. She is responsible for managing the bookkeeping and benefits administration for the firm. As office Manager, Carmen also assists with daily administrative activities of the office, including firm licensing and business registrations, clients, and consultant contracts.
